The Brow Healing Process
When you leave your appointment, your brows are just beginning their transformation. Over the next few weeks, they’ll go through a healing journey, and it’s completely normal for their appearance to change along the way.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Your brows might look darker than expected at first.
- You’ll notice some light scabbing and peeling as they heal.
- There may be a phase where they seem to fade or disappear – don’t worry, this is temporary!
These changes are all part of the process, which is why your follow-up appointment is so important. It’s during this visit that we’ll perfect your brows and ensure they look their absolute best.
Caring For Your New Brows
Brow Aftercare: Your Guide To Gorgeous Healing
Taking care of your brows after your appointment is just as important as the appointment itself. Here’s everything you need to know to keep your brows healing beautifully.
Right After Your Appointment
Within the first few hours, you can gently apply an ice pack (wrapped in a clean cloth) to reduce swelling if needed.
Day 1: Absorb and Blot
It’s normal for your brows to release a bit of lymph fluid. To prevent it from hardening, gently blot the area with a clean tissue every hour throughout the day.

Day 1 - 7: Wash and Moisturise
- Clean your brows gently each morning and night with cooled boiled water or a mild antibacterial soap (like Cetaphil or Neutrogena). Use your fingertips with a light touch to cleanse in a smooth motion for about 10 seconds.
- Rinse thoroughly and gently pat dry with a clean tissue—never rub! Avoid cleansers with acids or exfoliants during this time.
- Apply a tiny amount of your aftercare ointment (about the size of a grain of rice) using a clean cotton swab. The ointment should barely be noticeable.

What To Expect During Brow Healing
Over the first few days, it’s normal to experience some flaking, tenderness, dryness, itching, swelling, or redness in the treated area. Your brows might even look darker thank you wanted at first, and gaps may appear as your skin heals. Don’t worry - this is all part of the process!
Do's For The Healing Period
Use a clean pillowcase every night.
