Safety Steps I've Introduced

Kerry K Permanent Cosmetics - Licensed, Insured, Covid-Secure

I know that many of you will have questions regarding the measures that have been put in place by permanent makeup artists in response to Covid-19. I want to reassure all my clients that I'm doing everything I can to make sure that your visit is as comfortable as possible whilst remaining safe.

Here are some of the measures that have been introduced in addition to many of the hygiene and sanitisation routines which were already the norm pre-Covid.

  • Refreshed Training

I already complete a yearly infection control course, but have also added Covid specific training as well.

  • Updated Insurance

My insurance fully covers me to perform permanent brow procedures whilst working under Covid-secure conditions.

  • Extra PPE

Gloves, masks and gowns were already a requirement for makeup technicians, but I've also introduced sleeve coverings and a visor as well.

  • Hand Sanitiser

Hand sanitiser is provided for your use.

  • Increased Cleaning

The clinic has introduced an enhanced cleaning schedule with more time allotted between clients for disinfection.

Before you arrive

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a Covid questionnaire which you will need to complete prior to your appointment.

If you develop any Covid symptoms on the day of your appointment or you have been ordered to self-isolate, DO NOT attend the clinic. We can always reschedule your appointment.

The existing pre-procedure routines still apply and you can find those HERE.

On the day

Arrive on time

In order to make social distancing easier, we ask that you arrive for your appointment promptly as the waiting area is not currently in use. For this reason, it is advisable not to bring anyone with you as they will be asked to wait outside the premises.

Wear a face covering

Unless you are medically exempt, you will be required to wear a face covering whilst you are at the clinic and throughout your procedure.

Log your visit

As of 24th September 2020, we are now required by law to request that you log your visit via the official NHS Covid-19 app. These check-in details remain on your device and there is no need to leave your contact details with the places you visit.

NHS Covid-19 App

Download the official NHS Covid-19 app from your smartphone's app store. Scan the posters at the places you visit.
